In this guide we will show you how to integrate Safety Culture with Empiraa. We will be automating the data so when someone completes a safety inspection, that event is marked against the corresponding logistics objective in Empiraa. All with the aim to give people clarity over the plan and how you are tracking.
For this integration, you will need a Safety Culture, Zapier and Empiraa account.
You need the following invite only link to access the beta version of Empiraa within Zapier. Follow the link to get started.
Step 1
Safety Culture will be the trigger app. The event will be any inspection completed.
Step 2
Connect up your Safety Culture account, this will then pull through some data records.
Step 3
Set Empiraa as the secondary app. The event for this will be adding to a metric objective.
Step 4
Connect your Empiraa account.
Step 5
Under action is where we specify which objective we want the data to contribute to. The objective ID can be found by opening the objective details page in Empiraa. To do this go to your myhub dashboard > click the cog next to the objective you want > view objective. On the objective details page in the URL bar, there will be a number at the very end of the URL. This is your objective ID.
Step 6
Select the date as provided by Safety Culture. The value we will be attributing is 1, for each inspection completed.
Step 7
Let’s test the zap to make sure it is working. Refresh your objective details page in Empiraa. If the total value changes then it’s all set up. Publish the zap on Zapier and now you have automatic data flowing!
