How to connect Hubspot to Empiraa

Integrate your CRM in Hubspot with your objectives in Empiraa

Updated over a week ago

Using Hubspot, Zapier and Empiraa to automate your data, allows you to empower your sales plan and avoid a lot of manual data entry.

This guide runs you through the basics of how to add calls to a numerical objective in Empiraa. Our Empiraa objective is to hit a 35 calls this month, and this integration will add those calls each time one is made in Hubspot.

This zap uses an additional date/time formatter that has been created by Zapier. This reformats your complex Hubspot data into readable points that can be pulled into Empiraa.

You need the following invite only link to access the beta version of Empiraa within Zapier. Follow the link to get started.

Step 1

The first trigger will be New Engagement in Hubspot.

Step 2

Link your Hubspot account.

Step 3

The trigger for this particular objective will be a call.

Step 4

Continue with the selected record.

Step 5

Here is where you enter the date/time formatter by Zapier, the event will be date/time.

Step 6

Under action, the value input should be created at: #. Donโ€™t be alarmed about the long number, this will be correct.

Step 7

Adjust the other formatting settings as you want, then continue.

Step 8

The third step in this flow will be adding the Empiraa app. The event will be adding to a metric objective.

Step 9

Connect your Empiraa account.

Step 10

Under action is where we specify which objective we want the data to contribute to. The objective ID can be found by opening the objective details page in Empiraa. To do this go to your myhub dashboard > click the cog next to the objective you want > view objective. On the objective details page in the URL bar there will be a number at the very end of the URL. This is your objective ID.

Step 11

Under the date field you will select the date/time formatter by Zapier. The value will be 1.

Step 12

Test the action to see if the value on your objective details page in Empiraa, updates when you log a new call in Hubspot. If it does, publish the zap and it will now flow automatically!
