Product Update: 2025 Version 2

Native integrations, extended white-labelling customization and more

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Today we are announcing our latest product update that includes native Zapier integrations and even greater brand customization so you can fully productize Empiraa in your offering to your clients.

Zapier Integrations

Access and build new 'zaps' between Empiraa and your favourite platforms without having to leave the program and jump into different windows. Our new integrations page gives you full view of your current workflows and allows you to easily hook up new ones to your Empiraa objectives, sending data seamlessly between platforms.

Getting Started

Go to the dropdown menu in the top right corner. Click integrations.

The integrations page has some instructions on the left-hand side of how to connect your Zapier account.

You can use any integrations platform to build out your workflows and automate data. We use Zapier because it's the gold standard in the industry. If you prefer to use another platform like Make.io, Power Automate etc. you can use the Tenant ID and API keys to build out the automations manually.

Tenant ID and API Keys

To log into your Empiraa account with Zapier you will need your Tenant ID and API key. You will see these fields located on the left side. The API key can be accessed by going to the API Management portal.

We recommend pasting your API key in the blank field on the integrations page for safe keeping.

Finding the API Key

  1. Click the link to the API Management

  2. You will need to login in again via the top right corner of the portal

  3. Once you have logged in go to the "Profile" tab'

  4. The API is listed as "Primary Key"

  5. Expose the key and copy and paste it back into the integrations tab of the main platform for your records.

  6. Provide the key to Zapier when prompted.

Creating a Zap

To set up the transfer of data from one platform into Empiraa you need to create what's called a "zap". We have some popular templates pre-built for you to choose from on the integrations page, or you can search any of the 6000+ apps that Zapier connects with.

Example: Sending data in a Google Sheet into a metric Objective in Empiraa

Step 1: Click the template that says G Sheets to Empiraa. If it's not visible search Google Sheets in the search bar.

Step 2: Connect your Google Sheets account. We want to trigger this zap when a New or Updated Spreadsheet Row occurs.

Step 3: In the configure tab select the right spreadsheet and worksheet. The trigger will be when a value is updated in the data column.

Our spreadsheet we are connecting ^^

Step 4: Test the records to ensure you can see the right data.

Step 5: Set up your Empiraa connection. This is when you will be prompted to enter your Tenant ID and API key we mentioned above (only required the first time you connect Empiraa to Zapier). The action event for this particular example will be Add to a Metric Objective. So that means when data is updated in the spreadsheet, that will be pulled as a data entry into our metric objective.

Step 6: See below our objective in Empiraa we are feeding data into. The highlighted number tag indicates the objective ID. This number will be required so we can tell Zapier where to send the data.

Step 7: Enter the objective ID under the configure tab and select the correct fields to pull in from our spreadsheet.

Step 8: Test the step. The below screenshots show what the objective data entry looks like before and after testing. We can see the latest field has successfully updated in Empiraa, meaning the Zap is running correctly and is ready to be published!

Whitelabelling Update

We have just implemented further whitelabelling customization options so that you can now create a fully branded experience for your clients. Replace logos, update menu bar, icon and button colours and suddenly Empiraa is your own custom product you can sell on to clients.

How to access the controls

  1. Go to the dropdown menu in the top right corner

  2. Select Organization Settings

  3. Click the top right edit button

  4. Scroll down to brand assets

  5. Here you can choose the menu bar colour, primary and secondary colours.

Be careful not to select too light colours for your primary and secondary as these sometimes apply to text and will affect readability.

Example of a fully customized consultant plan managing multiple clients. Novacore Solutions is the consultant and this is their client account, Craft Trail Distillers.
