How to connect Monday.com to Empiraa
How to connect Monday.com to Empiraa

Link your monday.com account to your Empiraa plan

Updated over a week ago

This guide demonstrates how you can use a project management tool like monday.com and integrate it with Empiraa. We will show you how to connect a task being finished in monday.com, and pushing that completed status to the corresponding objective in Empiraa.

For this integration, you will need an account with monday.com, Zapier and Empiraa.

You need the following invite only link to access the beta version of Empiraa within Zapier. Follow the link to get started.

Step 1

Set your initial app as monday.com and make the event specific column value changed in board.

Step 2

Connect your monday.com account and insert your board ID and column ID, both accessible from your monday dashboard.

Step 3

Here we will insert the Filter by Zapier to help give us the correct information into Empiraa. We want to use this to send data when it meets certain requirements. In this case, we will only send data when the event project status is marked DONE.

Step 4

Lastly, we add Empiraa as the receiving app and the event will be setting a value to a skill or task objective.

Step 5

Link your Empiraa account.

Step 6

Under action is where we specify which objective we want the data to contribute to. The objective ID can be found by opening the objective details page in Empiraa. To do this go to your myhub dashboard > click the cog next to the objective you want > view objective. On the objective details page in the URL bar there will be a number at the very end of the URL. This is your objective ID.

Step 7

We pull the date for the value from monday.com and the value will be 100 because it triggers when a task is completed at 100%.

Step 8

Letโ€™s test to make sure it works. Refresh your objective page in Empiraa and if the value changes to 100%, you are all set up correctly! Time to publish.
