Plan Setup
Step 1
Enter your organization details. Use the branding settings to customize your plan with your logos and colours.
Some key things to note:
Organization logo is your primary horizontal/landscape version of your logo. This logo sits in the top left bar of the platform at all times. We recommend for best fit and visibility stick with a ratio of 5:1.
Organization icon is a square icon/logo and will sit in spots like your myPlan page. It works best if you have an icon or brandmark version of your full logo. The file must be a 1:1 ratio and be max 5MB.
The primary brand color is your company's main color that may be featured on your logo or promotional material. This color will change the top bar where your logo and the menu sit.
The text selector allows you to choose between white and black text based on what works best with your primary brand color.
Step 2
Input your vision statement. This is the guiding vision of your business and the impact you want to achieve in the long run. It should be short, concise and powerful.
π‘ Tip: Try some of the tools on the right-hand side to see how AI can generate some inspiration for your vision statement.
Step 3
Time to set some core values. These are the top 4-8 values that define your business, shape culture and guide decision-making.
π‘Tip: If you can't find the right values in the list for you, simply click Add custom core values where you can create your own.
Step 4
Now it's time to get into the Empiraa spirit and create your organization's goals. The goals are the heartbeat and guiding principles of your plan. Think of them like your big 3-5 year things that give your business direction.
You are only required to create 1 goal to begin with but we recommend 3-8 for most businesses. You can also come back and edit these whenever you like.
Step 5
Let's add the teams you want in your plan. These may be a direct copy of how your departments look within your business or you may choose to structure these differently ie. project based.
Step 6
Now we add our people. There are two ways you can do this. Either manually clicking Add People where you can input individuals or through the File Import button where you can upload a CSV with all your staff and their details.

Access Level
Note from the editor: there have been recent changes to terminology. Executives are now referred to as Admin users and Employees are called Team Members.
Access level is where you can control the restrictions around which members of your team can see what. Team members have the standard level of visibility and will only see objectives assigned to them and their team. They won't be able to see anything that has a restricted view. Admin can see everything on the plan and can also make changes to the core plan as well including organization goals, values, people, teams and more.
We recommend considering these roles carefully and only assigning Admin status to senior managers within your organization.
Step 7
In this step we go through the teams one by one and move people from the left column into the right to assign them to a team.
The highlighted red boxes show you what team we are assigning people to. By clicking the arrows beside the names you can move people back and forth easily.

The purple bar in the top right shows your progress through the teams. Just click through each team and put the right people in. You will need to assign one Team leader to each team.
π‘ Tip: We recommend creating one team that has all your employees in it. This will enable you to create objectives where the whole business can be involved.
Finishing and building your first objective
Click finish on the Plan Setup and you will be taken to myHub where you can see your goals listed. Now it's time to build some objectives to sit below these topline goals.
